I concur! The Alchemist is my all-time favorite, and I don’t say that to every boy….er book…you know!
The believer in me loves the spirit of the story and Santiago’s unquenchable altruism, the romantic in me loves Fatima’s attitude to love, and the cynic in me loves that he decides to leave some gold in the monastery in case he gets attacked again. Have you read any other Coelho?
How very true; Coelho hits all of those emotions in such a natural, unforced story line. I have not read any others by Coelho. If you have, do you have any suggestions?
